The workflow execution log stores all relevant information about a workflow execution, including all time stamps, when which action has been performed, and which value has been assigned to which variable. As this information might be confidential, only members of the admin group and the workflow responsible person can access this log.
The execution log is showing the element numbers, which can also be displayed in the process and workflow view. Therefore, the corresponding log section to one element can be found quickly.
The execution log is a powerful tool for checking and debugging workflow executions. The execution log can be exported to PDF or Excel files within the execution log window, or, with the "Execution Log" activity, it can be exported automatically within process.
The FireStart Client uses the same powerful implementation of the Execution Log as the ProcessPortal.
